Posted March 02, 2018 12:25:16 The NHLPA has set a deadline for players to get the policy they need for the upcoming season.
This week’s policy is for the 2018-19 season and players must submit a new policy for that season by April 29.
It’s unclear when the new policy will be available, and it’s unclear if the NHLPA will allow players to have more than one policy.
A few players already had policies on the market.
The NHL Players’ Association says that players with insurance coverage through their respective team will be able to get a new insurance policy from the NHL, and that the new policies will be valid for the 2017-18 season.
Players also have until May 10 to get their new insurance policies, but the NHL won’t say how many players have signed up for new policies.
The players’ union says that the deadline is the “most important” in terms of creating awareness about how insurance works, and the policy is a “must-have” for anyone who is going to the rink.
In a statement, NHLPA President Jeremy Rutherford said that the players have an important responsibility to get insurance.
“It’s important for players, the fans and everyone who cares about the game to know how important it is for players and their families to have insurance,” Rutherford said.
“The players have to work hard to do it.
The new policy is designed for the season ahead, so we are confident players will have insurance and will be well protected.”
This is a developing story.
