The new insuring agent must be: An accredited financial advisor or a licensed financial adviser An accredited insurance agent or an accredited insurance salesperson An accredited employee of an accredited financial insurance company An accredited member of an Accredited Financial Industry Association or accredited member-business association.
An accredited employee or manager of an insurance broker.
An individual who is at least 21 years of age, and who holds a valid Accredited Insurance Licence (AIL).
This will be an individual who: Holds an A-level or equivalent qualification in the field of financial insurance.
Has experience working with individuals and small businesses.
Is licensed by the Thai Insurance Agency.

An A-Level qualification in finance, accounting, insurance and/or accounting is not necessary for this position.
However, applicants must be able to meet the following requirements:Have completed an accredited course of study in a relevant field of finance and/a related field of accounting.
Have the knowledge and skills to: Act as a responsible financial advisor and/of a reputable financial insurance broker in the Thai insurance industry.
Have an adequate and relevant work record in an accredited and compliant financial insurance industry as defined by the Ministry of Finance.

In addition to the A-levels, the applicant must have the following qualifications:A minimum of three years experience working as a financial insurance agent in the financial insurance market, and at least three years in a regulated insurance broker’s role.
Have passed a thorough knowledge examination in the industry.
Apply online for an AIL License from the Thai Financial Agency.
The AIL license can be applied for by anyone.
However, the application must be submitted to the Thai Finance Agency through the online application process.
The application form for the license will also need to be filled in and submitted by the applicant.
This process will take between one and five working days.
The process to apply for an Accreditation Licence will begin once an application has been approved by the Ail licence board.
The Thai Financial Authority is responsible for issuing and regulating the AILS Licences, and the Licences can be cancelled at any time by contacting the Licence Board at:Ail Licence Boards are responsible for maintaining the accreditation status of the Licenses.
